  Assistant Progress Leader      
  GLEA Scale 4 SCP 9 to 12. Salary range £18,319 to £19,819.      
  Actual starting salary £15,532 for 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time + 5 days.      
  JSTC are re-structuring to enable each year group (Y7 to Y11) to employ an Assistant Progress Leader.      
  The role involves working closely with Progress/Deputy Progress Leaders to:      
  • ensure high levels of attendance, punctuality and behaviour
  • promote inclusion for all students
  • Monitoring overall progress to support Progress Leaders
  • provide guidance and support to enable all students to achieve
  • liaise closely with parents and external agencies
  The successful candidate will work as part of an excellent team ensuring that the school continues to offer outstanding pastoral provision. We are looking for a committed member of staff who believes in personalised learning to secure the best outcomes for our students.
  Learning Support Assistants (Two Posts)      
  GLEA Scale 3 SCP 6 to 9. Starting Grade 3.6 (Actual starting salary range £11,092 p.a.)      
  Temporary, 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.      
  This is an excellent opportunity to join an enthusiastic and experienced team of learning support assistants. The posts will include in-class support and some 1:1 work. Applicants should have good English skills and a good rapport with young people. Would ideally suit someone who is interested in progressing to a career in teaching as a first step or who is looking to develop as a learning support assistant.      
  One of the positions would involve working with a blind student and knowledge of braille would be an advantage but not essential, as training will be given.
