Head of Science: Mr Bentley

“I have worked at JSTC for many years, travelling a great distance; both of which are testament to how great this school is. Wonderful students and supportive staff mean that we all work together in a harmonious atmosphere of learning."

AQA Chemistry TRILOGY Assessment Overview

The table below outlines the long term curriculum plan for the chemistry aspect of the AQA TRILOGY SCIENCE course (8464). The plan outlines the topics the students in year 9, 10 and 11 will do in lessons and roughly when it will be delivered, and which exam paper it is part of.

To aid the students in their studies, note the icons for Knowledge Organisers and the Web Links for YouTube videos that summarise the topics and the required practical. The ‘Big Idea’ is to give a very brief idea of what the topic is about.
