Safe Access to the Internet

An E-Safety group in school has responsibility for ensuring provision of advice and guidance to the school community including staff, students and parents. Guides are produced for students and parents and INSET delivered to staff to raise awareness of issues and concerns linked to E-Safety. Information is highlighted to students through the tutor and pastoral system as well as on school noticeboards.

The school uses external sources of guidance to complete audits of e safety standards and regularly monitors and addresses each element. Collaboration with external standards bodies and other schools also helps to maintain standards and awareness. Governors are kept informed of this element of school vigilance.
